The Studio
100 Watt Studios is Charleston's premier audio recording studio offering a full range of in studio services like individual and full band recording, voice over services, songwriting, vocal coaching/production as well as remote/onsite recording. Scott and Devin teamed up to create a space where artists of all genres, backgrounds and skill levels can embrace, express and elevate their creativity. The facility itself has been used for music in many different forms over the years resulting in a vibe that is inspiring, inviting and fosters comfortable creativity.
Scott
With a career spanning over 25 years in the music industry, Scott Gould has been there, done that and gotten the t-shirt. As a guitarist and vocalist for his long time band Madam Adam, Scott toured the country and worked with some of the best artists, writers producers and vocal coaches in the business including Alain Johannes (Them Crooked Vultures), Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace), Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin), Dean DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) and Sylvia Massy (Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, System of a Down). The flavor he brings to all of his projects is the culmination of his rich experiences in this vibrant industry.
Devin
Devin Vaughan is an audio engineer and drummer with over 26 years of experience playing and recording music. Devin spent 10 years in Nashville Tennessee as the head engineer of The Smoakstack where he worked alongside studio owner and producer, Paul Moak, with artists like: Caitlyn Smith, Bones Owens, Band of Skulls, Marc Broussard, Lovedrug, Us The Duo, Hannah Wicklund, Goodbye June and Avi Kaplan, to name a few. Devin and his family moved back to their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina where he partnered up with Scott Gould and, together, they curated the state of the art recording studio known as
100 Watt Studios.
